This is the LaTeX file I used for my PhD thesis submitted at the Indian Statistical Institute. You can use this template to create your own thesis as well. Simply download the
.zip file or open it directly in Overleaf using the buttons below to get started.
In the
main.tex file, you’ll find various constants such as
ThesisTitle,
Author, and others — just update their values as needed. You can also modify or add new definitions in
macros.tex and
chapters/symbols.tex according to your requirements.
Generally, there’s no need to change anything in
preamble.tex, but if necessary, you can make updates within the existing structure. The AMS theorem environments and styles are documented at the beginning of
main.tex — be sure to read that section carefully.
